The events posted on this website are events in which ThinkTV is a collaborative partner, and are listed so that you may have the opportunity to join us out in the community in a variety of ways.  We are pleased to recognize and partner with the talented organizations in our communities.

3rd Annual Fall Program Preview Event
When:   Wednesday, September 22nd at 5:30 pm
Where:  ThinkTV Studios, 110 South Jefferson Street, Downtown, Dayton

Kick-Off your ThinkTV fall viewing season with a special sneak preview of our most popular PBS programs.  This event has become a fall tradition and is one of our largest attended screening events each year.   Join us for an informal evening. . .Visit with staff members of your public television stations. . .Enjoy refreshments and a special video presentation of clips from the fantastic fall programming you can expect to see on ThinkTV.

This event is free and open to our members and viewers, however, please call us if you plan to attend as limited seating is available.  Call Ame at 937-220-1612 before September 16th.

Junior League of Dayton Town Hall Series
ThinkTV is proud to continue as media partner in collaboration with Times Community Newspapers and Junior League of Dayton for the 2010-2011 Town Hall season.  This year’s talented speakers include a legendary sports figure, a television star, a humorist and a famous television journalist.  Each lecture takes place at The Schuster Center on Thursday mornings at 10 am.  Tickets are required to attend.

JAMIE FARR—October 14, 2010
Jamie Farr will always be remembered as the outrageous Corporal Klinger on the highly successful television show M*A*S*H.  He began his television career in the late 1950’s and will share his life’s journey with you.

ARCHIE GRIFFIN—November 4, 2010
Archie Griffin, two-time winner of the Heisman Trophy, three time All American, member of the College National Football Foundation Hall of Fame, Rose Bowl Hall of Fame and The Ohio State University Sports Hall of Fame will talk about his life in football and beyond. 

NICK CLOONEY—April 7, 2011
Nick Clooney is a journalist, author, TV personality and activist.  He has been a reporter, anchor, news director and has had his own talk-variety show and a daily radio show.  Named as one of the “best in the business of television news”, he is a member of the Ohio Television Hall of Fame.

GINA BARRECA—May 12, 2011
Dedicated to women, laughter and the comic muse, Gina Barreca will entertain you wish her warm humor and her insight into relationships with the opposite sex.  She is a professor of English, an accomplished writer and lecturer and in 1998 she received UConn’s “Excellence in Teaching” Award.

Junior League of Dayton hopes you will join them and enhance your life while improving the community.
