Channel Line-Up Changes for CET & ThinkTV
During the past couple of weeks, we have informed you of changes coming on August 25th for
Time Warner customers on the greater Cincinnati and Dayton cable systems. Those changes will affect the public television stations available to cable subscribers. As our conversations with Time Warner continue – and with the channel changes occurring soon – it is most important that our viewers on cable know what channels will continue to be available to them based on Time Warner’s current plans.
As of today, on the Time Warner Cincinnati system, all customers will continue to receive CET and ThinkTV14 on their basic cable service. Subscribers to Time Warner’s digital programming services will receive the digital channels of CET and ThinkTV16. These include our HD channels. The channel positions for our digital programming will change.
Basic Cable Subscribers
CET and ThinkTV14 will remain on basic service.
Digital Tier Subscribers
CET and ThinkTV16 digital channels will be available (including HD channels).
For Time Warner customers on the greater Dayton system, ThinkTV16 will be available to all subscribers on the basic cable service. If you currently receive ThinkTV14 or CET on your basic service, they too will be available. Subscribers to Time Warner’s digital programming services will receive the channels of ThinkTV16, including its HD service.
Basic Cable Subscribers
ThinkTV16 will be available.
If you currently receive ThinkTV14 or CET, they will continue to be available.
Digital Tier Subscribers
ThinkTV16 digital channels will be available (including the HD channel).
Channel line-ups for CET and ThinkTV may vary in parts of our region based on the Time Warner system.
We have asked Time Warner to make adjustments to these changes during this transition period. We appreciate their reconsideration and the opportunity to work with them to determine the future public television service available to their customers – and to communicate changes to our viewers.
Finally, the changes on our regional cable systems do not affect viewers who receive public television over-the-air or from other providers. We’ll continue to update you on-air and online as cable changes occur.
Above all, we’re committed to providing you the best local public television service possible.
Thank you for watching and supporting your public television stations.
