Ingredients
- 8 ounces plain cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces vegetable cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- Dash freshly ground pepper
- 2/3 cup pecans*, finely chopped
Directions
- Place cream cheese in a mixing bowl and mix to combine. Add cheese, green onion, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Place the cheese mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap and roll into the shape of a round ball.
- Place the pecans on a separate piece of plastic wrap. Please the rounded cheese ball onto the nuts* and roll around, pressing gently, to cover the outer surface of the cheese ball.
- Wrap the cheese ball with the plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour but up to 2 days before serving.
- When ready to serve, remove from refrigerator and allow the cheese ball to sit on the counter for about 20 minutes to soften a bit. Serve with crackers, pretzels, vegetables, or whatever you love to eat with cheese!
