Date Night Fondue

Enjoy a romantic at-home date night with this cheese fondue recipe!

  • 8 ounces of shredded Gruyere Cheese
  • 1/2 cup of White Cooking Wine
  • 4 ounces of shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup of Chicken Broth
  • 1 teaspoon of Cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Nutmeg
  • Dippers: Pretzel Bites, Carrots, Broccoli, Italian Bread, Green Apples


  1. Chop up all of your dippers into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. In a fondue pot or saucepan, combine cooking wine and chicken broth and bring to a near boiling state.
  3. Add in small amount of both cheeses and stir. Then add in cornstarch and nutmeg and stir until the ingredients are all mixed in.
  4. Slowly add in cheese until completely melted and smooth.
  5. Enjoy your cheese fondue with the dippers you have prepared!
