DIY Date Night Jar

Sometimes the hardest part of getting a night out with your significant other is trying to figure out what to do. If you and your partner have trouble coming up with ideas for a date night or struggle with making decisions, try making this fun and romantic DIY Date Night Jar! Save the time it takes to make the date night decision and spend that time with your significant other instead.

Here’s All You Need:
  • 1 Mason Jar
  • Pack of Love Themed Stickers
  • 1 Piece of Colored Scrapbook Paper
  • A Box of Colored Popsicle Sticks
  • A Sharpie
  • Tape or a Glue Stick
  • Ribbon for Décor

Here’s the How-To:

Step One: Take the piece of scrapbook paper and cut it to a length so that it wraps around the mason jar but doesn’t go over top the lid area. Once it is tightly wrapped around the mason jar either tape the ends together or one one end over the other.

Step Two: Add some stickers of your choosing to the outside of the jar to give it a romantic look!

Step Three: Take out the different colored popsicle sticks and sort them into color groups. Give each color a different category based on what type of date night you might want. The example below shows the orange sticks representing a date night at home, the red sticks are restaurants to go out to for when you can’t decide quickly where you want to go eat, the green sticks are for dates under $30 and the blue sticks are for a night out.

Step Four: Put all the sticks inside the jar and mix them up!

Step Five: When it’s time for date night, choose which date night category you would like to do or that your significant other would love and then draw a stick. Have a romantic and meaningful night out!
