New Weekday Program – “Let’s Learn” – Supports At-Home Learning

CET and ThinkTV are excited to be airing a new program called Let’s Learn, an hour-long show designed to complement at-home learning. This program airs on weekdays at 12pm and 3pm on CET and ThinkTV16.

Here’s a preview:

What is Let’s Learn?

Let’s Learn is an educational public television show for children ages 3 to 8 featuring lessons from educators, STEM specialists, artists and more. Each “class” is aimed at supporting children and parents who are engaged in hybrid, home-school learning or remote learning with segments that feature instruction in literacy, math, science, social studies and more and well as field trips, storytimes and more. The series also supports social emotional learning (SEL). You can find additional SEL resources online at https://video.thinktv.org/show/cetthinktv-education/.

Let’s Learn’s engaging, authentic and interactive lessons are accessible to students with just a television set. Lessons incorporate age and grade-level appropriate material planned with Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education (CR-SE) in mind.

Here are just two of the episodes of this series:

Meet a tarantula named Rose and a drum named Jasmine, play rock’n’roll bingo, turn a cereal box into a science journal and read Over the Ocean.

Join a Neighborhood Sing-Along, meet an opossum, dance to “Route 66,” make and play instruments and learn about ng and nk sounds.

Are there other resources for the series?
