New Year, New Channels, Same Us

We are excited to announce that we are launching a channel rebrand in 2026 to better serve our viewers – like you! Starting Monday, January 5, at noon, five subchannels will adjust to expand our programming with more statewide and international content. Our main channels, CET (channel 48.1), Think^TV16 (channel 16.1) and Think^TV14 (channel 14.1), as well as the PBS KIDS channels, will not change.

Channels 16.4 and 14.4, previously Think^TV16 Ohio/World and Think^TV14 World, will now become Think^TV16 Ohio and Think^TV14 Ohio. These channels will provide 24/7 access to The Ohio Channel, a service of Ohio’s public broadcasting stations. The Ohio Channel broadcasts news from the Ohio Statehouse, which includes the Ohio House of Representatives, the Ohio Senate and the Supreme Court of Ohio, as well as local programming from PBS stations across the state.

To allow for this expansion of statewide coverage, other channels will shift to focus more on lifestyle and international programming. Channel 16.2 will become Think^TV16 Journey, channel 16.3 will become Think^TV16 World and channel 14.2 will become Think^TV14 Explore. These changes to the channels will take viewers across the globe with international news, lifestyle programs and encores of PBS programs.
