The three-part series aims to shed light on the diverse women’s experiences that are often overlooked when it comes to the narrative of the “Mother Road.” From entrepreneurs and waitresses, anthropologists and politicians, to artists and military sergeants, these women transformed their communities and the American West through their hard work, perseverance and ingenuity.
