Wild for Ohio

We are excited to announce that we’re hosting a new event – Wild for Ohio – at the main branch of the Dayton Metro Library on Saturday, September 30! This free event for kids and families is presented with funding from Ohio Learns 360.

Ohioan David Fitzsimmons, author of the Curious Critters series, will present two shows at 11am and noon thanks to the Dayton Metro Library. We’ll also have a performance from the Olohana Polynesian Dancers, live animal ambassador from Five Rivers MetroParks, visits from friends like Curby from the Montgomery County Solid Waste Management District, and even photo opps with the one and only Nature Cat!
Throughout the event, families can participate in hands-on Wild for Ohio activities, including: Fun with Fossils, Beaks as Tools, Nature Magnification Station, Parachuting Spiders, Nature Cat coloring station, Nature Bean Bag Toss, Door Prizes, giveaways and fun with other community partners.
No tickets are necessary – we look forward to seeing you there!
